Capella Education Company Reports First Quarter 2011 Results

Capella Education Company CPLA, a provider of online post-secondary education through its wholly owned subsidiary Capella University, today announced financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2011. For the three months ended March 31, 2011: Revenues increased 10.0 percent to $111.4 million, compared to $101.2 million in the first quarter of 2010. Total active enrollment increased 7.3 percent to 39,904. New enrollment growth decreased by 35.8 percent from first quarter 2010.
