Patterson-UTI Energy Reports Financial Results for Three Months Ended March 31, 2011

PATTERSON-UTI ENERGY PTEN today reported financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2011. The Company reported net income of $71.3 million, or $0.46 per share, for the first quarter of 2011, compared to net income of $4.2 million, or $0.03 per share, for the first quarter of 2010. Revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 were $567 million, compared to $272 million for the first quarter of 2010.
