Gabelli & Company has issued a report about CenturyLink's CTL plan to acquire Savvis.
Gabelli writes, "CenturyLink agreed to acquire Savvis, a data center company, providing hosting IT solutions and cloud infrastructure to enterprises. In 2010, Savvis generated $933 mil. in revenues (38% - colocation, 34% -managed hosting, 28% - network services) and $236 mil. in Adjusted EBITDA. The company operates 32 data centers with ~1.5 mil. sq.ft. of space in North America, Europe, and Asia."
CTL has a Hold Rating and closed at $40.14 yesterday.
