(TheStreet) -- Stocks pared earlier gains Monday to trade in mixed territory as the market evaluated uncertainties following news that Osama Bin Laden was killed in a U.S. military operation. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was higher by 14 points, or 0.1%, at 12,825. The S&P 500 was up by 0.1 points, or 0.01%, at 1364, while weakness across the tech sector was weighing on the Nasdaq, which was lower by 0.5 points, or 0.02%, at 2873.
