Amerigon Announces Expiration of Hart-Scott-Rodino Waiting Period for Its Acquisition of W.E.T. Automotive Systems

Amerigon Incorporated ARGN today announced that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, relating to Amerigon's previously announced acquisition of a majority of the voting shares of W.E.T. Automotive Systems AG, a German company, has expired without further action by the Federal Trade Commission, thereby satisfying a condition of closing of the transaction. Amerigon and W.E.T. have also received regulatory approval from the Ukraine, which was also a condition to closing the transaction.
