Jefferies Maintains Buy Rating For Alphatec Holding After A Better Result In 1Q (ATEC)

In a recent report from Jefferies, Alphatec Holdings' ATEC 1Q revenue exceeded forecasts and adjusted earnings were in line with expectations resulting in Jefferies maintaining a buy rating on ATEC and believing risks in the outlook will continue to diminish. In the report, Jefferies said, "Alphatec reported 1Q revenues of $49.7mn exceeding forecasts on stronger US sales; adjusted earnings were largely in line with expectations at ($0.01). The company reaffirmed full year guidance of $195-205mn. With good domestic results and new products coming to market, the risk in the outlook continues to diminish." ATEC closed yesterday at $2.95.
