Alcatel-Lucent Reports 15% Rise In Q1 Revenue

Alcatel-Lucent SA ALU released its results for the first quarter on Friday. The company posted a quarterly net loss of 10 million euros ($14.5 million), compared with a loss of €515 million, in the year-earlier period. The company's revenue surged 15% to €3.74 billion from €3.23 billion. Its adjusted operating profit came in at €13 million, versus a loss of €195 million. However, analysts were expecting an adjusted operating loss of €68 million on revenue of €3.8 billion. ALU shares gained 0.48% to $6.29 in after-hours trading. Read more from Benzinga's Company news.
