BRE Properties 8M Share Offering Priced at $48 per Share

BRE Properties, Inc. BRE today announced the pricing of its public offering of 8,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $48.00 per share. The company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,200,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Wells Fargo Securities, BofA Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Subject to customary conditions, the offering is expected to close on or about May 11, 2011.
