Zale Corporation Appoints Matt Appel as Chief Administrative Officer (ZLC)

Zale Corporation ZLC today announced the Company's Chief Financial MOfficer, Matt Appel, has been appointed as Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, Mr. Appel will be responsible for real estate, supply chain and Mlogistics, merchandise planning and allocation, information technology, warranty, repair and credit products, as well as the ongoing management of the Company's finance and control functions. Mr. Appel will continue to serve as the Company's Chief Financial Officer. “In recognition of the critical role he has played, and continues to play, in the turnaround of our business, the Board and I are pleased to appoint Matt as Chief Administrative Officer of Zale,” said Theo Killion, Chief Executive Officer. “Since Matt joined the Company in May 2009, he has been a trusted partner whose leadership, determination and drive have been critical to the progress we've made in stabilizing the business.”
