TD Ameritrade Reports Average of 402K Client Trades per Day in April

TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation AMTD today announced Company metrics for April 2011. Monthly activities included: An average of 402,000 client trades per day in April 2011, down 6 percent from April 2010 and down 3 percent from March 2011. Approximately $423 billion in total client assets as of April 30, 2011, up 21 percent from April 2010 and up 3 percent from March 2011. Average spread-based balances of $61.6 billion, up 14 percent from April 2010 and essentially flat from March 2011. Average fee-based balances of $81.9 billion, up 28 percent from April 2010 and up 3 percent from March 2011.
