Mylan Launches Generic Version of Risperdal M-Tab

today announced that its subsidiary Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. has launched Risperidone Orally Disintegrating Tablets, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg and 4 mg, the generic version of Ortho-McNeil's Risperdal® M-Tab®, a treatment for schizophrenia. Risperidone ODT had U.S. sales of approximately $61 million for the 12 months ending Dec. 31, 2010, according to IMS Health.
