SAIC Selected for the Integrated Communications Services Contract by NASA; Maximum Potential Value $1.3B

Science Applications International Corporation SAI today announced it was selected by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to provide managerial and technical expertise in support of the Office of the Chief Information Officer for corporate and mission communications needs, including local area network management at all NASA centers. The cost-plus-award-fee/incentive-fee contract has a three-year base period, one two-year option; one three-year option; and a final two-year option period, with an additional indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity feature. The base award of the contract is $340 million. The maximum potential value of this contract if all options are exercised, including the maximum IDIQ contract value, is $1.3 billion.
