Scottish & Southern Energy PLC SSEZY reported a 21% rise in its net profit for the year ended March 31 on Friday.
Scottish & Southern Energy reported a net profit at 1.5 billion pounds ($2.4 billion), versus 1.24 billion pounds, in the year-earlier period. Its adjusted profit before tax surged 1.6%. The company's revenue surged to 28.3 billion pounds, from 21.6 billion pounds, in the year-earlier period.
Scottish & Southern Energy also lifted its dividend by 7.1% to 75 pence per share.
SSEZY shares gained 0.18% to $21.75 in after-hours trading.
