Good Deed of the Day: ExxonMobil Pipeline Company Contributes $25K to Memphis Flood Relief

ExxonMobil Pipeline Company announced today it will donate $25,000 to the Mid-South American Red Cross to provide disaster relief assistance in response to the recent flooding that impacted the City of Memphis. EMPCo is a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation XOM. "As a member of the Memphis community, our hearts go out to all our neighbors who have been affected by the devastating flooding," said Steve Sigman, ExxonMobil Pipeline Company's Memphis Terminal Superintendent. “Even as we work to recover from the flooding ourselves, we want to support the Red Cross as they work to help the people of Memphis recover and rebuild.” ExxonMobil Pipeline Company's donation is being directed to the Mid-South American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to support flooding relief efforts in the City of Memphis. The Relief Fund provides food, shelter, counseling and other assistance to the victims of this disaster and thousands of other disasters across the country each year. ExxonMobil Pipeline Company has two distribution terminals in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee, and employs approximately 11 people in the state who support those operations. The Memphis terminal has been flooded since late April.
