Fiserv Announces Public Offering of Senior Notes; $1.0 Billion Aggregate Principal Amount Of 6.125% Senior Notes Due 2012

Fiserv, Inc. FISV announced today that it had commenced a public offering of its senior notes, subject to market and other conditions. Fiserv intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to fund a tender offer for any and all of its $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.125% senior notes due 2012 and to use any remaining net proceeds for general corporate purposes. Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc. are the joint book-running managers for the offering.
