Sell Off Accelerating, NASDAQ Down Nearly 1%

The sell off on Wall Street is really starting to accelerate, with the NASDAQ leading the way, down nearly 1%. There were early warning signs this morning as the S&P 500 breached a key technical level, and since then selling has continued. At last check, the S&P was off 13 points to 1,287, the NASDAQ was off 24 points to 2,708, and the Dow was off 62 points to 12,088. Concerns over increased capital requirements, housing overhang and regulatory issues are leading to issues with the financial sector, and as the financials continue to worsen, so does the market. Even Apple AAPL has turned solidly negative, after starting the day in positive territory going into the WWDC.
