Top Narrow Based Indexes For June 7

By 10:38 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 66.56 points, or 0.55%, to 12,156.52, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had gained 7.75 points, or 0.60%. The NASDAQ composite index rose 13.78 points, or 0.51%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are driving the markets are RF Semiconductor Stocks, which have gained 3.4%, Sporting Goods Retailer Stocks, up 2.9%, and Solar Stocks, moving 2.8% higher as a group. In Tickerspy's RF Semiconductor complex, Skyworks Solutions Inc SWKS had surged 6.2%. SWKS affirmed its projections for above market growth. The best performing Tickerspy Sporting Goods Retailer stock has been Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation BGFV, which was up 4.3%. BGFV named Boyd O. Clark as the company's new Senior Vice President, Buying. Westinghouse Solar Inc WEST is today's leading Tickerspy's Solar stock, gaining 28.5%. WEST announced its plans to exhibit its latest Plug-and-Play AC module and DC system for commercial systems at the upcoming Intersolar 2011 trade show on June 8-10, 2011 in Munich, Germany.
