AMC Networks Announces Offering of $700 Million of Senior Notes

AMC Networks Inc., a subsidiary of Cablevision Systems Corporation CVC, today announced that it is planning an offering of $700 million aggregate principal of senior notes due 2021. The senior notes offering is in connection with the previously announced leveraged spin-off of AMC Networks by Cablevision. The notes are being offered inside the United States to qualified institutional buyers in reliance on Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"), and outside the United States to non-U.S. persons in reliance on Regulation S under the Securities Act. The notes have not been registered under the Securities Act or applicable state securities laws and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act and applicable state laws. This announcement shall not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy the notes.
