Despite Sell-Off, Plenty Of High-Beta Stocks In The Green

Despite Thursday's huge sell off, which has sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average nearly 200 points lower, there are plenty of high beta names that are solidly positive. This could suggest that a potential rally is in the cards this afternoon. Names such as Baidu.com BIDU, Apple AAPL, Acme Packet APKT, and Chipotle CMG are all trading higher, among others. This is a bit peculiar considering that all of these stocks are momentum names that traders chase in an up market.
