McDonalds Localizes Its Burger Recipe

It may come as no surprise that the menu of McDonald's (MCD) varies from country to country. That's not all. The recipe for the same item can also vary. In Japan, the hamburger chain recently fed diners in May with a limited-time-only Mega Mac sandwich. It uses the same ingredients as the Big Mac in the U.S., but stacks four beef patties instead of two. (The Mega Mac sandwich appears a tad smaller in diameter, however, than the American Big Mac.)
