Delta minimizes fuel impact

The No. 1 airline by passengers carried confirmed that it expects a profit in Q2 even though its fuel bill will be $1 bil higher than a year earlier. Analysts expect a 55-cents-per-share profit for the quarter. Delta Air Lines (DAL) and others raised fares earlier this year in sync with rising fuel prices.
