Morgan Stanley (MS) said the online retail leader will post strong sales growth during the holiday shopping season, as more people shift their buying to Web sites. It also noted Amazon's (AMZN) broadening merchandise selection, shipping rates and pricing strategy. Its price target was raised to $245 from $225. Morgan Stanley said the company has been growing at 4 times the rate of the overall U.S. eCommerce market and 2.5 times the int'l market.
