CIBER Wins Contract to Support Training of Top Military Leaders at Army's Center for Strategic Leadership

Current and future military leaders may soon hone critical decision making skills for operational and strategic warfare using training exercises and materials provided, in part, by CIBER's CBR Federal division. The Center for Strategic Leadership, an institute of the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, PA, has awarded CIBER a five-year contract, valued at up to $30.7 million, to provide exercise support and design, software support and visual information services. The CSL trains military and government agency leaders using realistic experiential-learning techniques, such as simulations and experiments. As part of the U.S. Army War College, the CSL educates selected current and future military and civilian senior leaders, with emphasis on landpower in a joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational environment at the operational and strategic levels of war. "The CSL plays a vital role in the development of tomorrow's leadership, and CIBER looks forward to adding our collective military and civilian agency experience to those efforts," said Marcia Kim, president for CIBER's Federal Division.
