Iowa Stores Receive Heavy Volume on Iowa Appliance Rebate Program (SHLD)

3/1/2010-Local Iowa stores prepared for an anticipated rush Monday morning with consumers hoping to cash in on a federal stimulus program that offers to rebate them on select appliances.

Stores like Sears SHLD were expecting heavy volumes of consumers today as the government stimulus, known as the Iowa Appliance Rebate program, went into effect this morning promising rebates of $100 to $500 on various appliances.
