Met-Pro Corporation's Environmental Air Solutions Business Unit Receives Equipment Order Totaling in Excess of $1.8 Million

Raymond J. De Hont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation MPR, announced today that the Company's Environmental Air Solutions business unit has received an order, totaling more than $1.8 million, to supply process and air pollution control equipment to a major alternative energy company for the purification of landfill gases. The order is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of the Company's current fiscal year. On the process side, Met-Pro Environmental Air Solutions' unique de-oxygenation system technology, used in conjunction with a Duall Brand wet scrubber and wastewater neutralization system, will purify the methane gas stream harvested from the landfill operations increasing the service life of downstream equipment. On the air pollution side, a Met-Pro Systems brand regenerative thermal oxidizer will treat the waste gases from the landfill gas separation process. "This order demonstrates our strong and growing presence in the alternative energy market and reinforces Met-Pro Environmental Air Solutions' reputation as a uniquely qualified provider of single source solutions for complex air emission challenges," said De Hont. "We continue to be very encouraged by the recent pace of large project new orders, which now total more than $6.4 million since June 1, and remain optimistic that we will receive more orders of this type in the near future."
