KeyCorp KEY released its results for the second quarter on Tuesday.
KeyCorp's quarterly net income surged to $240 million, or $0.25 per share, from $70 million, or $0.03 per share, in the year-earlier period. Its revenue dropped 8.2% y/y to $1.02 billion, from $1.12 billion. Its net interest income declined to $570 million from $623 million in the year-earlier period.
KeyCorp shares gained 0.65% to $7.78 in after-hours trading.
