Sprint Said to be in Discussions with Cable Companies Regarding Clearwire Buyout -Bloomberg

Sprint Nextel S is rumored to be in talks with cable companies including Comcast CMCSA and Time Warner Cable TWC about a possible investment that may lead to an acquisition of Clearwire CLWR, according to sources. Sprint would use the investment to buy the remaining shares in Clearwire it does not already own. Bill White, a spokesman for Sprint, said the company doesn't comment on rumors or speculation.
