Metals Jumping, Silver Exploding Higher

up 52 cents to trade at $39.31, a gain of 1.3%. Gold is up $16.60 an ounce to $1,798.00, a gain of 0.93%. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF

are up 13 cents to $174.54. Platinum is up $23 an ounce, trading at $1,804 an ounce, as it crosses back over $1,800, and overtakes gold as the most expensive metal. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index
