Metals Soaring, Copper Up Over 5%

The metals market is much stronger today, with all of the precious and industrial metals soaring on news that Europe may be able to solve its problems. Equities are sharply higher, with all three indexes up over 1%. Copper is up 17.2 cents to trade at $3.4550, a gain of just over 5%, the best among the metals today. is up $1.54 to $44.81, a gain of 3.56%. Silver is up sharply, down $2.60, a gain of $32.58, a gain of 8.7%, the best among the metals class. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF
