Orbit International's Power Group Receives New Order Valued at $590,000

Orbit International Corp. ORBT today announced that its Power Group, through its Behlman Electronics, Inc. subsidiary (“Behlman”), has received a new order for its COTS Division valued at $590,000. The order is for a COTS power supply used in a United States Naval anti-submarine and anti-ship surveillance and targeting system. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2012 and continue through the third quarter of 2012. Behlman has been producing this power supply for the past 10 years, having just completed delivery of the last option under a multi-year contract. This new order represents the first follow-on award to that multi-year contract for which Behlman anticipates follow-on orders through 2016. Mark Tublisky, President of Behlman Electronics commented, “Behlman's ability to operate in both the commercial and military COTS markets has enabled its business to steadily grow over the last decade. Behlman continues to distinguish itself from its competition by its unique ability to be a ‘total solution provider' for our customers' power needs. We remain confident that Behlman's business model, which focuses on standard easily modified product platforms and superior customer service, will lead to continued growth.”
