Metals Lower, Silver, Copper Down Sharply

The metals market is much lower today, with all metals across the spectrum noticeably lower, because of european debt concerns. Equities are lower, with all three indexes down over 2%. Copper is down 8.3 cents to trade at $3.45, a loss of just over 2.3%. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is down $1.43 to $44.64, a gain of 3.1%. Silver is down 69 cents to $34.46, as it tries to regain $35 an ounce. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are down 38 cents this morning, to trade at $33.62, a loss of 1.12%. Gold is down $13 an ounce to $1,786.00, a loss of almost 0.75%. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are up 27 cents to $173.80. Platinum is down $32 an ounce, trading at $1,641.10, a loss of nearly 2%. The platinum ETF ETFS Physical Platinum Shares PPLT is down $2.07 this morning to trade at $162.06, a loss of 1.26%. Palladium is getting crushed, down $22.60 an ounce today, trading at $654.60, as it looks like it will break $650 an ounce. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are sharply lower today, down $2.05 to $64.60.
