Hyundai Motor Q4 Net Profit Surges 38%

Hyundai Motor Co

reported a 38% surge in its Q4 net profit. Hyundai Motor's quarterly net profit rose to 2.002 trillion won ($1.79 billion), from 1.451 trillion won, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of 2.24 trillion won. Hyundai Motor shares closed at $204 yesterday.
