SGS and Savi Technology Announce Worldwide Strategic Alliance to Deliver Global Cargo and Asset Tracking Solution

SGS and Savi Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin LMT, today announced an exclusive, multi-year, worldwide strategic alliance to develop, promote, market and deliver a first-of-its-kind service that will enable countries and organizations to track and monitor cargo and shipments in real-time. The alliance will support a new SGS service called SGS OMNIS™. SGS OMNIS will help ensure that critical shipments of materials reliably get to their intended destination without loss for the government and incidentally the owner of the goods. This will result in substantial cost savings and help countries around the globe protect customs revenue while simultaneously reducing cargo piracy. “This is truly a landmark agreement.
