Yara Reports Rise In Q4 Net Profit

Yara International ASA YARIY reported a rise in its fourth-quarter net profit. Yara's quarterly net profit climbed to NOK3.39 billion, from NOK1.57 billion, in the year-ago quarter. Its revenue surged to NOK19.64 billion, from NOK17.39 billion. However, analysts were expecting a profit of NOK2.98 billion on revenue of NOK21.22 billion. Yara's earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose to NOK4.98 billion, from NOK2.99 billion a year ago. Yara's shares closed at $44.17 yesterday.
