John Wood Raises 2011 Dividend By 22.7%

John Wood Group PLC WDGJF announced its plans to lift its 2011 dividend by 22.7%, after posting a 19.5% rise in revenue. John Wood's total revenue climbed to $6.05 billion, from $5.06 billion in 2010. Its revenue from continuing operations jumped 38.7% to $5.67 billion from $4.09 billion. John Wood's total EBITA from continuing operations, before exceptional items, surged to $398.7 million, from $344.8 million in 2010. However, profit from continuing operations before tax and exceptional items climbed to $254.1 million from $156.2 million. John Wood lifted its total dividend to 13.5 cents, from 11.0 cents in 2010.
