UPDATE: Piper Jaffray Raises PT to $40 on Linear Technology

Piper Jaffray increases its price target from $39 to $40 on Overweight-rated Linear Technology LLTC on slightly higher estimates following an inline FQ3. Piper Jaffray says, "For F4Q12, LLTC is guiding revenue up 4% to 8%, or to $325-$337M versus our previously modeled $325M and consensus of $329M. We are making changes to our model ahead of the conference call today at 11:30AM ET and may need to slightly tweak estimates again post call." LLTC closed at $33.15 on Tuesday.
