NEC NIPNF reported a narrower group net loss in the first quarter.
NEC posted a quarterly net loss of 17.86 billion yen ($228.53 million), versus a year-ago net loss of Y29.70 billion.
NEC's operating loss declined to Y7.88 billion, versus a loss of Y19.44 billion. Its revenue dropped to Y631.53 billion, versus Y669.12 billion.
