Gold Fields Ltd GFIOF posted a 10.9% surge in its second-quarter profit.
Gold Fields' quarterly pretax profit climbed to 2.64 billion South African rand, versus ZAR2.38 billion, in the year-ago period.
Its revenue gained to ZAR11.36 billion, from ZAR9.58B. Its net profit climbed to ZAR1.61 billion, from ZAR1.51 billion.
Gold Fields' headline earnings per share climbed to 230 cents, from 176 cents.
Gold Fields also declared an interim dividend of 160 cents a share.
