Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) Sales Climb, Loss Narrows

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ANF on Tuesday morning released financial results that were in line with Wall Street expectations. Abercrombie & Fitch Co. reported that it narrowed its 1st quarter loss to $11.8 million, or 13 cents per share, from a loss of $59.2 million, or 68 cents per share, a year earlier. Revenue climbed 14% to $687.8 million, up from $601.7 million a year earlier. A poll of analysts conducted by Thomson Reuters, showed an average Wall Street estimate of expected a loss of 14 cents per share, on revenue of $680.5 million.
