Limited Brands Reports Earnings; Shares Fall in the After-Hours

Shares of Limited Brands Inc. LTD are trading lower in the after-hours after the company reported earnings that beat Street estimates. Limited Brands said that Q1 EPS came in at $0.25 (excluding non-reoccurring items) on revenue of $1.93 billion. The Street was looking for $0.19 per share on $1.93 billion in revenue. Actual earnings beat the whisper number as well, which was $0.19. The company said that Q2 guidance was $0.27-0.32 per share and that the full year would be in the neighborhood of $1.60-1.80 per share. The full-year was in-line with the consensus of $1.71, though Q2 was at the low end as the Street which is at $0.31 for that quarter. Shares were trading at $23.45 in the after-hours, off 4.25%.
