Shares of the PROSHARES SHORT DOW 30 ETF DOG are moving higher today by 2.36%, currently trading $52.27, as the market sells off on Euro debt fears.
The ETF is seeing some bullish call activity as well today. The June $52 and $53 strike calls have each traded over 1,350 contracts with the vast majority being purchases on the offer. Open interest on the strikes is 1,083 and 2,201, respectively.
The PROSHARES SHORT DOW 30 ETF seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, which correspond to the inverse of the daily performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average index. The fund normally invests 80% of assets in financial instruments with economic characteristics that should be inverse to those of the index.
