Following the news, shares of the company advanced 11.1% to $0.40 in pre-market hours. It has a 50-day average daily volume of 1.08 million. Shares of Sirius XM SIRI rallied 12%, to $0.98 during pre-market trading with no significant company news on the block. Yesterday, SIRI declined over 11% to $0.88, the stock's second consecutive close below the $1 mark. The company has a 50-day average daily volume of 137 million. According to Alexza Pharmaceuticals ALXA, a clinical study revealed that ALXA’s Staccato Loxapine (AZ-004) reduces signs and symptoms of agitation as early as ten minutes after dosing in patients with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. The news led the company’s shares up 6%, to $3.20 in pre-market hours. Additionally, ALXA announced that it has secured a $25 million committed equity financing facility with Azimuth Opportunity. Alexza’s 50-day average daily volume is 165,000. Soda maker Jones Soda JSDA today announced that under a deal struck with Wal-Mart WMT, JSDA will be able to sell its products in the retailer’s nearly 3,800 US-based stores. The deal enhances Jones' total retail outlet distribution by almost 10%. Shares of JDSA surged 61.8% on the news to $1.10 in pre-market trading.
