Bridgestone BRDCY reported a 46% rise in its net profit for the July-September quarter.
Bridgestone's quarterly net profit surged to Y40.6 billion, from Y27.8 billion, in the year-ago quarter. Its sales fell 4.9% to Y737.3 billion from Y775.3 billion.
Bridgestone shares closed at $46.97 yesterday.
