In his "Mad Money Lightning Round" on Wednesday, Jim said that as long as oil prices rise, prices of solar stocks will also advance. However, he had a bearish view of First Solar FSLR and advised traders against investing in the stock. FSLR jumped 1.28%,to $118.77 yesterday.
For Goldman Sachs GS, Jim commented, "The stock has lost its way, but I'm not going to recommend shorting it. I can't say to buy it though until the government is done chastising them." Shares of Goldman rose 0.12% to $137.06 yesterday.
Cramer disclosed that he has recommended People's Bank PBCT in his book. Although the banking sector is facing extreme pressure at present, he advised investors to hold the stock. PBCT climbed 2.75% yesterday, before slipping 0.07% in the after-hours session.
Talking about Amdocs DOX, Cramer said that firms that help other companies slash their headcount are a good investment. He considers DOX to be a decent stock, which is trading quite low nowadays. After climbing 0.57% yesterday, the stock fell 0.33% in after hours.
When asked about Verizon VZ, Jim said, "I want you to stay on it. The dividend is safe. I like Vodafone Group VOD more, but I'm not going against Verizon." While VZ climbed 0.24% yesterday, VOD slipped 0.76%.
