Air New Zealand Posts Surge In Profit

Air New Zealand ANZFF reported a rise in its profit in the six months to Dec. 31. Air New Zealand's net profit for the period surged to 100 million New Zealand dollars (US$83 million), versus NZ$38 million, in the year-ago period. Air New Zealand's normalized earnings before taxation rose to NZ$139 million, from NZ$33 million.
