Adecco Posts Downbeat Q4 Profit

Adecco SA AHEXY reported weaker-than-expected fourth-quarter profit. Adecco's quarterly net profit fell to EUR 35million, from EUR133 million in the year-ago period. Its revenue declined to EUR 5.03 billion from EUR5.19 billion. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of EUR86 million on revenue of EUR5.01 billion. Adecco shares closed at $28.85 yesterday.
