Fluor Awarded Clean Fuels Contract by South African Petroleum Refineries

Fluor Corporation FLR announced today that it was awarded a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract by South African Petroleum Refineries (SAPREF) for its Clean Fuels II Project in Durban, South Africa. The undisclosed contract value was booked in the first quarter of 2013. “This award builds on our significant clean fuels expertise as well as Fluor's ongoing site support work with SAPREF in South Africa for nearly 20 years,” said Peter Oosterveer, president of Fluor's Energy & Chemicals Group.
