Jefferies Constructive On Aerospace In Near Term, More Cautious On Long Term Prospects (BA, LMT)

In a sector report released today by Jefferies JEF, the firm said that they are constructive on the near term outlook for the aerospace industry, but more cautious on a longer term basis. The analysts wrote that "We believe aerospace stocks are likely to benefit from the ongoing recovery in global traffic and yields. While the Administration's decision to add resources to the war in Afghanistan will likely put-off an eventual contraction of the overall budget, the longer-term outlook for dense stocks remains generally muted." During today's trading session, Boeing BA shares have fallen 1.16% to $67.97. Lockheed Martin LMT has gained 0.27% to $78.26.
