SIRI Jumps After Reporting A Rise In Q2 Net Subscribers

Shares of Sirius SM Radio Inc SIRI advanced after the company reported a huge increase in its Q2 net subscribers from a year-ago period. The New York-based company reported an addition of 583,249 net subscribers in the second quarter, as compared to a loss of 185,999 customers in the year-ago period. The company’s Q2 deactivations also fell by 8% year-over-year. While SIRI’s shares have advanced 56.67% year-to-date, they have slipped 10.48% over the past week.
