Mining Stocks Moving Up (FCX, VALE, BHP, RTP)

Shares of some of the world's largest mining stocks are rising during Friday's trading session. Freeport-McMoran FCX has gained 4.02% to $65.69. Brazilian mining giant Vale VALE has risen 2.10% to $26.25. BHP Billiton BHP has added 1.51% to $67.76. BHP is the world's largest mining company with a market cap of $188.55 billion. Year-to-date, BHP has fallen 11.44%. Rio Tinto RTP is another widely watched mining stock. RTP has jumped 2.05% today to $48.25. Rio Tinto Plc (Rio Tinto) is an international business involved in each stage of metal and mineral production.
